The question is; do we need so called celebrity mobsters? Do we need the media reporting on their every move? Are we not creating their “celebrity?” Putting criminals in the spotlight of national media encourages some to want to emulate them. The attraction of quick money, cars, woman and power are to seductive for some to resist. I believe the “celebrity mobster’ is a small part that serves to perpetuate the “species” and that’s not a good thing.
